If you’re planning a visit to the farm in Snohomish, WA this spring, you’ll have no shortage of fun activities to enjoy in the area. Here’s a snapshot of what you can enjoy with friends and family this spring. April“Eggsplore” in Lynnwood We’re pretty sure you’ve never heard of an event like this before. Beginning March 4 and extending until May 6, “Eggsplore” Lynnwood has two phases. First, large eggs are decorated by local artists and placed at businesses and nonprofit organizations throughout the city. Families can then hunt for the eggs via a special mobile app, or go the low-tech route with a paper scavenger hunt. Collect all the eggs and you’ll be entered in a special prize drawing. When the Egg Hunt ends, the decorative eggs will be exhibited at Lynnwood City Hall and auctioned off, with the proceeds benefiting numerous nonprofit human service providers in the area. Snohomish on the Rocks Interested in fine liqueurs? This event is for you. Taking place April 28, attendees have the opportunity to meet leading Snohomish-area distillers, sample their products, and gain insights into how different spirits are conceived. 100% of the event’s proceeds go to GroWashington, a small-business development center that’s assisted 2,000+ local entrepreneurs since 2011.
